The Huntington Arts Council convenes panels to evaluate and rate grant applications made to the Council. Panels usually consist of a diverse group of arts professionals, each with expertise in a different genre or discipline, as well as those with knowledge of artistic and programmatic quality, managerial and fiscal competence, and service to the public.
Panelist nominations come from many sources, including arts organizations, individual artists, school administrators, and the public. Self-nominations are accepted. All panelists must be Long Island residents for the duration of their service.
To nominate yourself or a person for panel service, please complete the following form. This form and the nominee's current resume must be submitted to the Council before panelists can serve.
